National Groundhog Day!

Happy National Groundhog Day!

Today is a special day to celebrate the groundhog and all of its furry friends. Groundhogs are a species of rodent that are native to North America and are known for their burrowing habits. Every year on February 2nd, people gather to watch a groundhog emerge from its burrow and predict the weather for the coming months.

This year, Punxsutawney Phil, the most famous groundhog, will be making his prediction. If he sees his shadow, it means that winter will last for six more weeks. If he doesn't, then spring will come early.

In honor of National Groundhog Day, why not take a trip to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to witness the event firsthand? Or, if you can't make it, you can always watch the festivities online.

No matter how you choose to celebrate, make sure to take a moment to gopher it and appreciate the groundhog.
